Sevika Sanghom
The Mar Thoma Suvisesha Sevika Sanghom, the women’s wing is an integral part of our church
It was inaugurated during the Maramon Convention in the year 1919, under the leadership of Abraham Mar Thoma Suffragan Metropolitan. who gave the Sanghom continued support and inspiration. Every woman of the Mar Thoma church above 18 years old is a member of the Sevika Sanghom. Our Sevika Sanghom is blessed with very active and dedicated members who provide wholehearted support for the spiritual development of our church and its activities.
In 2025, Sevika Sanghom actively engaged its members through various activities throughout the year.

- Western Region Sevika Sanghom Conference was hosted by our Church on Saturday, March 8. Dr. Abraham Mar Paulose Episcopa was the Main Guest and Rev. Saji Thomas was the main speaker.
- Sevika Sanghom Day was celebrated on September 21, 2025.
- Monthly Sevika Sanghom prayer meeting was held on the third Saturday of every month in the Church.
- WRSS prayer meeting was held every first Thursday of the month and our members hosted the prayer meeting for May 2025.
- A food sale (poti choru) was conducted on Sunday January 5, 2025 and raised $2105.00.
- As part of the Golden Jubilee, a joint retreat was organized on Saturday, November 11, 2025 at Church. Dr. Issac Mar Philoxenous Episcopa was the chief Guest.
- Sevika Sanghom members actively participated in the Christmas Carol event and represented MTCLA at the Ecumenical Carol service.
- Sevika Sanghom was able to initiate several charity works this year. This include building a house for an Evangelist, contributing towards Manipur Education Care project and the Light to Life project.
